AUM is the term used in the context of mutual funds, full form of AUM is Assets under Management. AUM refers to total assets which are managed or handled by the mutual fund. It changes daily because it is calculated taking into consideration market price of stocks and also due to inflow and outflow of money when investors buys or sells the mutual fund hence it keeps fluctuating on day to day basis.
