What is Financial Inclusion

Financial inclusion is a term used in the context of banking; it refers to giving banking services to poor and people belonging to far flung rural areas where banking services are not present. Financial inclusion is of particular significance to developing countries where there is mismatch between the rich and poor. Financial inclusion makes sure that all people have the same banking facility at the same cost and hence there is no discrimination with any particular class of people.
